After the rally concluded, I managed to
catch hold of (most of) the candidates for a group shot.
Here are 5 out of the 6 candidates standing for Pasir Ris - Punggol GRC, representing the SDA. They are (L - R) Desmond Lim, Ishak Haroun, Lineker Lee Hock Huat, Elvin Ong and Mohd Hamim Aliyas. Lee Hock Huat, at 25, is the youngest candidate standing in this general election. * * * * * I hope I am inspiring other Singaporeans to do as I am doing: to keep writing about politics, to share your observations and thoughts and to record moments of our national life. The government wants you to think you can't blog about politics, especially electoral issues. That's not what the law says. Don't be afraid. Isn't this photo essay a demonstration that there is nothing to fear? |
